I am a former fat kid who turned things around and surprised himself. Until my early twenties, I was your standard fat kid who didn't know how to turn his life around. I was drinking a case of soda a day, and would hardly call myself "impressive". Seriously, my self-confidence was at an all time low. I didn't even have enough confidence to enter a gym. I tried for over 10 years, asking my parents and friends how to turn myself into someone that I could find impressive so that I could be more self confident... Then...things changed. When I was 21, something clicked. I found martial arts classes I could take with my friends and things snowballed. I started eating better and learned the few things that I need to focus on to make big progress. Within 1 year, I had lost 50 pounds, and could finally do 10 pullups. Within 2 years, I had achieved a 30-second handstand, a muscle up and several handstand presses. Within 3 years, I was doing back flips on concrete, a 2-minute handstand, one armed chinups, planches and the front lever. I learned that small changes make a big difference.
